elementaryschoolWhat you know to be real.
You’re alive in a body full of
baggage and sunshine.  Breathe.
Turn away from any voices that
tell lies.

Put some hope in your pocket.
Don’t let doubts cloud shining
thoughts.  Shout, “I am beautiful.”
Jump in the air and feel your
feet leave the ground.

Talk honestly about your scares.
Pick at them carefully, without letting
them bleed.  Pick, breathe, pick.
You’re grown up for God’s sakes.
Never give up the child inside, or
you’ll be forever lost.

Always be aware, and be curious of
all that you cannot see.
The best is yet to come.  Breathe.
Your dreams carry a force of
a million tomorrows.

  1. Jo This is beautiful! I just had an amazing dream about you, & us! It was a beautiful healing dream. A healing of hurts and sadness … and filling with love & peace? To wake up and find this writing is just beautiful confirmation again of the spiritual synchronicity that is ALWAYS happening on the level beyond the physical? Thats for reminding me of that connection that we share soul sis??

This post flirted with Advaita Vedanta (non-dualism) except that it acknowledged a future. I liked it. Thanks.

    Hope you are well.
