Jan H Hitchcock has a varied writing history in multiple disciplines. Her poetry has been included in US and UK anthologies, and the Florida State Poetry Association chose two of her poems for awards in 2021. She has published a children's book, Kindle eBook and numerous articles in magazines and newspapers. She is an Art Educator with a MFA from BU.
I love the short story genre. Some of my favorites are Shirley Jackson, Flannery O'Connor and Raymond Carver. While I may never come close to their level, I would love the opportunity to try.
